PCSS is involved in a pilot project with the division, Olds College and RDP, helping our graduating class break through barriers that might inhibit them from applying to post secondary (anxiety, indecision, finances). Red Deer Polytechnic came to visit our school this morning, and Olds College in the afternoon, as part of this process. They had one on one visits with students, gave presentations on next steps (for those who have already been accepted), financial aid, and student supports available at RDP. It was a great morning for our grade 12 students, a chance to ask questions, hopefully relieve a bit of stress, and even submit some free applications!
